3.148. Why are my Jobs or estimates disappearing?

I went to edit a job I had done previously but it is no longer in the open list what happened?

There are several possibilities:

1. The job or estimate has been overlooked. Click the Open icon from EstiMate's main screen and click on any one of the headers at the top to sort the records differently. Many times a record can be found by sorting the list in a different way.

2. The job or estimate was archived by mistake. Click Archives > Explorer > All Customers to locate the missing job or estimate. Click on New Job or New Estimate to create a new one based on the archived record and that will bring the details back into the open list, however the entry will now have a new number.

3. The job or estimate was printed but not saved. After printing the job or estimate do not press the cancel button, press the 'save' button instead.
