4.166. How do I re-number my estimates and jobs?

How do I change the numbering of new estimates and jobs that I will create.

1. Click on management>configure estimate
2. Click on the preferences tab.
3. In the section labeled 'Job & Estimate numbers' click on the up and down arrows to change the numbering of subsequent jobs and estimates.

IMPORTANT TIP: Be sure to set your estimate or job number to be one less than your target number. Example: If you want the next estimate that prints to be #1000 then set the number in the preferences to be 999.

Note: estimates/jobs that have already been created will not be affected by this procedure and cannot be re-numbered.

Additional Note: numbers can *only* be increased, not decreased.
