How do I translate elements of the screen printed garments plugin for use in a digital printing environment? I am especially concerned about the minutes per pull and flash time fields as well as adapting the inks database.

There are two elements of doing digital printing on garments that are analogous to the flash time and minutes per pull in screen printing. A.) The Time to make the print and B.) The time to apply it to the shirt. To address these factors, you can use the flash time and minutes per pull interchangeably. You may try entering the time to make the print in the flash time field and the time to apply it in the min. per pull field and visa versa in order to gage what works best and what delivers the best numbers. This is possible because what is really being addressed is production time, hence whether it is time to pull a screen or time to apply a digital print the production time for doing so is accounted for.

In the inks database you would manipulate the settings so the cost of the ?ink? comes out the same as a digital print.

In this manner the Screen Printed Garments plugin can be used to price digital printing on garments.
