The solution is to Change your date separator to a forward slash "/". No other separators are acceptable. Apply the changes and press OK.
To find the date separator in Windows XP, double-click the Regional and Language options in your computers control panel. Click the customize button on the regional options tab, and click the date tab on the customize regional options screen. Proceed as indicated above.
